Mission: Founded in 1992, the International Foundation for Performing Arts Medicine was created to support the performing arts by fostering the further development of performing ars medicine as a medical specialty. It helps to raise funds for injury prevention education/programs, conducts medical research and treatment of performance related injuries. It works to help make the working environment a safer one.
