Nonprofit Overview

Mission: In an age dominated by profane, violent and immoral media which undermines Judeo Christian principles and weakens the moral fabric of society, IBN produces and broadcasts morally uplifting programming which upholds the values that gave strength and direction to earlier generations of Americans who made the United States the greatest nation on earth. International Broadcasting Network began at the advent of low power television in America with Livingston, Channel 66, one of the first to sign on in 1982. A member of the National Religious Broadcasters, IBN is accountable to the public and a board of Christian leaders. IBN is not built around human personality, and it has no "superstars" to promote. It avoids over the air appeals for funds and works in close cooperation and harmony with local churches and community organizations. Much more has been accomplished at International Broadcasting Network than one would think possible without massive financial support. This is due, in part, to the unusual dedication and commitment of IBN's personnel, but it reflects to an even greater degree the power of God to achieve His purpose regardless of circumstances. Today, IBN owns and operates ten television stations across East and Central Texas, an orphanage in Honduras and produces radio and television programs for the world. The flagship facility, with studio and production truck is located in Lufkin.
