Santa Maria Noontimers Lions Club has impacted people in many ways. After 32 years as a member, I just moved to be closer to my family, and I miss my Lions family. Being a member of this club can become a full time job to participate in all the club normally does. I am proud that covid19 has not stopped members who continue to donate blood, feed the homeless, shop for at risk, and lend time for street cleanup while supporting other public organizations with monetary donations inspite of reduced ability for fundraising. Over the clubs 57 years (and before my time), in spite of memership ups and downs, this Lions Club has stetched its membership to provide help in many projects for the people living in the surrounding area. I am glad that today's technology has allowed me to remain a part of this club and my Lions family.
