Having traveled internationally often from Atlanta, I spent uncounted hours of waiting time in the airport. I am pleased to find a quiet, restful place to relax and reflect upon issues of faith and peacefulness in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the busiest airport. The Interfaith Airport Chapel rooms located within the airport provide a sanctuary within a most hectic transportation hub where I am able to take a few minutes reflect upon God. I appreciate the opportunity to occasionally visit these chapels.
The Atlanta Interfaith Chaplaincy provides a ministry of God's presence at the Atlanta International Airport. All religions have God, prayer and faith in common. Thus the Interfaith Airport Chaplaincy is a faith-based organization. The Chapel rooms located within the airport provide a quiet place for people to come and reflect upon God. The volunteer chaplains are available to offer God's comfort and encouragement through prayer and faith. I have personally enjoyed using airport chapels around the world during my international travels. Stop by the Interfaith Airport Chapel and take advantage of this special place. Prayers and support for this ministry are always appreciated!
