Causes: Children & Youth, Youth Development Programs
Mission: The mission of Interactions for Peace is to educate life-long peaceful problem solvers.
Results: Since 1989, we have trained thousands of teachers on our complete curriculum and developmentally appropriate programs. They have trained hundreds of thousands of students how to solve their problems peacefully. The impact multiplies exponentially as every year these teachers train a new group of students. As the students internalize these peace building skills they interact with thousands of people more peacefully as they journey through their lives.
Target demographics: educate life-long peaceful problem solvers.
Direct beneficiaries per year: thousands of students and adults in San Diego and Kenya.
Geographic areas served: San Diego County and have partners working internationally in Kenya, Philippines and Uganda
Programs: a complete curriculum and developmentally appropriate programs for everyone, every day and every place. Our programs are designed for children ages 4 years through adults.
