Mission: The Insurance Education Foundation was founded in 1988 to improve public understanding of the role of insurance in society. The Foundation pursues this goal through the education of secondary school teachers and students. When young consumers are given a better understanding of how insurance products work, they feel more confident about their own risk management decisions and they are able to make wiser choices about their coverages.
