Programs: Ten-year forecast program - for nearly four decades, the ten-year forecast program has been a leading source of foresight for a vanguard of business, government, and nonprofit organizations. It is a platform for sensing today's latent signals, tracking their intersections to understand the ecosystem of choices, and then designing platforms for future resilience. Focusing on the next three to ten years, the program anticipates discontinuities and emerging dilemmas - discontinuities because they challenge business as usual and dilemmas because they demand new ways of thinking about complex problems. Together, discontinuities and dilemmas provide a vista of new practices and points of view that will shape tomorrow's organizations and today's choices. This is an annual membership program that, along with all other core foundational multiclient projects, provides the building blocks for initiatives that further our mission in leading the efforts on long-term thinking, while also supporting ongoing public and private sector special projects that pushes our research in new areas of study. The ten year forecast served over 20 clients, hosted an annual conference and provided a diverse array of deliverables to it's members.

technology horizons program - the technology horizons program combines a deep understanding of technology and societal forces to identify and evaluate discontinuities and innovations in the next three to ten years. We help organizations develop insights and strategic tools to better position themselves for the future. Our approach to technology forecasting is unique-we put people at the center of our forecasts. Understanding humans as consumers, workers, householders, and community members allows iftf to help companies look beyond technical feasibility to identify the value in new technologies, forecast adoption and diffusion patterns, and discover new market opportunities and threats. This is an annual membership program that, along with all other core foundational multiclient programs, provides the building blocks for initiatives that further our mission in leading the efforts on long-term thinking, while also supporting ongoing public and private sector special projects that pushes our research in new areas of study. The technology horizons program served 8-10 clients throughout the year, and explored multiple research areas during its 2 bi-annual conferences.

health horizons program - the health horizons program combines a deep understanding of the global health economy, user behavior, health and medical technologies, health care delivery system, and societal forces to identify and evaluate emerging trends, discontinuities, and innovations in the next three to ten years. We help organizations work with foresights to develop insights and strategic tools to better position themselves in the marketplace. This is an annual membership program that, along with all other core foundational multiclient projects, provides the building blocks for initiatives that further our mission in leading the efforts on long-term thinking, while also supporting ongoing public and private sector special projects that pushes our research in new areas of study. The health horizons program served approximately 10 clients, hosted 2 conferences, 1 online gathering, and explored 4 primary research themes.
