Mission: The organization was created for the purpose of (i) fostering the technological advancement, availability, and implementation of a universal emergency telephone number system common to all jurisdictions; (ii) striving toward citizens having imediate access to emergency public safety services so that the safety to human life, protection of property, and civic welfare are benefited to the utmost degree; (iii) aiding and assisting in the timely collection and dissemination of information relating to a universal emergency telephone number system.
