Incline Education Fund (IEF), is an amazing community partner and non-profit. Their passion for supporting the community is seen through everything that they do. They understand the needs of the people that they are working with and try to address those needs in any way that they can. It has been a privilege to work with IEF.
Incline Education fund always puts the local community first and is making a quantifiable impact in benefitting the lives of children through investments in education, academic facilities and college planning support.
Incline Education Fund helps my school, my students and myself and colleagues each day. They are the biggest supporter of public education in the area, and they somehow manage to get us materials and the help we need! We need more organizations with this drive and focus and ability to help an underfunded school in a wealthy area. They are truly amazing!
Incline Education Fund has been instrumental in helping our organization, American Association of University Women - Tahoe Nevada Branch, invest in programs in our local schools. They have formed excellent relationships with the administration and staff of our three schools, and as a result, they are on top of needs that arise and able to inform our Board of possible opportunities to support programs that will benefit our academic community.
Incline Educational Fund is committed to improving the quality of education for all K-12 students in the Incline Village Community. My organization, edplanit.org, has partnered with them on several occasions. Of note, I host a college readiness boot camp for one week every summer and the Executive Director, Mary Danahey, has single-handedly organized college admissions personnel into a Zoom session in which the students share their first-draft essays with college admissions people. This takes a huge amount of time, and the students reap immeasurable benefits from the feedback they receive during the session. I could not do this without Mary's expertise and willingness to help whenever she can.
Incline Education Fund generously and courageously stepped into a leading community role that has greatly benefited our local schools. Founders Danahey and Schrage sought out our perspective as educators, listened to our needs as classroom teachers, and addressed our concerns as professionals trying to succeed in the face of Covid, teacher shortages, a substitute crisis, and increasing expectations from administrators and families. Numerous times, IEF has reached out to me and my colleagues to find out what is needed and they have consistently come through. The team has funded an array of very specific requests such as five-gallon buckets to store individual playground supplies during Covid, an impressive Maker Space, and outdoor learning opportunities. These contributions not only reflect the interest IEF took in our endeavors but also provided a sorely needed degree of validation to our school's sincere, professional efforts to provide and perform for our students.
Incline Education Fund has been wonderful partners with individual teachers and the school as a collective. I cannot say enough positive things about their organization. They truly are a great nonprofit.
Incline Education Fund is an incredibly caring, well-run organization focused entirely on providing the students in Incline with much needed volunteer and material support. Whether it's funding the very engaging "MakerSpace" at the elementary level, buying computers for children in need in the middle schools, actively seeking and training volunteers at all levels, and promoting the achievements and work in the schools. I know that the organization tirelessly seeks grants and studies other avenues to aid the students towards higher goals. For IEF, it's all about the students! I feel privileged to work with this great nonprofit.
Incline Education Fund helped raise $100,000 for our makerspace at Incline Elementary School (IES). This money gives every child at IES the opportunity to participate in hands on STEM and robotics activities.
Excellent nonprofit focused on supplementing shortfalls of Incline Village schools, including helping fund the makerspace at the elementary school and getting all students computers during COVID at the middle school.
IEF is a great leader in the the community by supporting and prioritizing the needs of the students and teachers. IEFs leadership has consistently identified needs and executed solution, including supporting the procurement and delivery of computer for every child, and a Makers Space at the local middle school, to name a few.
