Mission: Unlocking the potential of people with disabilities.
Programs: The employment program model focuses on shattering stigma and re-educating both employers and job seekers to shift their mindset around disability from focusing on limits to abilities. From large scale job fairs to intimate networking events, over a thousand job seekers and business recruiters connected through incight. Incight's offerings for corporate inclusion culture trainings were expanded for businesses to become better stewards of disability diversity and inclusion, and are built on the success of our job connection events.
the education program reaches students in high school to encourage higher education, employment, and independence. Incight's getting ready for college guidebooks, lesson plans, multimedia tools and events helped hundreds of students make the transition beyond high school to higher education, employment, and independent living. A total of 76 college students with disabilities, attending 43 different schools, received incight scholarships.
the independence program improves quality of life and happiness for those with disabilities through adaptive sports, recreation and assistive technology. Constituents engage in activities which include hand cycling, hockey carts and hardware, such as tablets and laptops made available to students and jobseekers exploring needed accommodations. Approximately 329 athletes were served.
