Causes: Human Services
Mission: To provide support to the immigrant community through educational, legal and personal advancement programs that encourage integration into american society.
Programs: Education - to empower individuals by teaching students to use the english languages as a tool for social and economic advancement. We help adults expand their fluency by focusing on essential grammar, stimulated listening, speaking, reading, and writing activities that emphasize the language they need for real world communication. This is a 6 month program that meets once a week in the afternoon, on sunday from 3-6pm. Classes are led by paid certified esl teachers and volunteers. Immigration - to assist immigrants by providing them with the resources necessary to survive and contribute to society. Our diversity is what has made this country great therefore we promote integration through education. We envision an evolution of thought where we come together in solidarity regardless of our race, ethnicity, cultural and religious beliefs.
