Highly unprofessional and dishonest. I am an experienced dog guardian with the perfect home situation and resources and outstanding references.

I completed an application and waited the allotted amount of time. No response. I followed up with a call. No one called back. I followed up with an e-mail as advised by their voicemail. No response.

It's very unkind not to respond to applicants. Whoever is supposedly screening applicants obviously doesn't bother reading them or has some bizarre requirement that they don't mention. Shame on them.

Abandoned Angels Cocker Spaniels Rescue is very dear to my heart and so is Dolores, the Founder. Dolores goes above and beyond helping every "Lil Angel" that is lucky enough to cross her path.

Dolores works so hard in finding a loving home for each of her "Angels". She takes such good care of them and spoils them all. She has a heart of Gold.

Thank you Dolores!

Very disappointed on how we were treated by the leadership of this organization. We fell in love with Mr Buttons a cocker spaniel that was up for adoption . We have owned 4 other cockers. Our last one passed away this spring at age 15. We were hoping this dog would fill the void that we have in our hearts .After we made the application out we talked to volunteer who asked us questions which we answered who was very nice. Then a couple days later the foster mom of Mr Buttons called us.she was also very nice . She told us that the leadership person Dolores would be calling us next . When she called she asked if we would let the dog sleep with us. We told her me and wife would talk about it and call back. We decided yes we would let the fog sleep with us and let the message on her voice mail. We waited a few days then called again and left message that we would let Mr Buttons sleep with us And left phones numbers to get in touch with us . We waited a couple more days then we emailed her. Still after a few more days we called and emailed her again .We never got a response from her to this day over 3 weeks .In total we must have left 6 or 7 voice mails and 4 or 5 emails .This is no to treat people that want to adopt a pet. Very disappointed in Dolores in not even answering us .She boke my wife's and my heart .All she had to do was to pick a phone and let us know if thete was a problem .Theres no excuse for the way she treated us
