The key to a brighter, healthier future free of conflict and strife is in a the place that the future starts, in the minds and hearts of our children through their education. For the children, themselves, are the future.
It has been amazing and truly gratifying to see the impact of my donation and to be able to follow along as Imara Academy has grown.

Mission: Imara Academy mobilizes resources to facilitate a world class education for the underprivileged children in Mwala, Kenya
Results: Imara Academy distributes funds, goods and provides volunteers services to the underprivileged children who attend Imara School in Mwala, Kenya. We have distributed over $6,489 in funds and goods to Imara School and the children who attend the school. We strive to make it possible for 200 children to access education. · In 2015 we distributed school uniforms worth $1,400 to 70 children and we also contributed $360 to help with ongoing building construction including bathroom facilities. We also donated toiletries and other hygiene products. · In 2016 we contributed $2,000 for ongoing classroom construction and donated $400 worth of goods such as toys, toiletries and an old used computer. · In 2017 we contributed $3,000 towards roofing 2 classrooms. We also donated toys and school supplies worth $380. We hosted a 2 day clinic at the school where volunteers paid their way to the school and held clinics for the kids with games, tutoring and counseling.
