Mission: The organization's purpose includes promoting knowledge of, respect for, and protection of all animals, including but not limited to "farmed" & companion animals; educating the public about animals, including their physical, mental & emotional needs; providing support & assistance to individuals & organizations working toward the betterment of animals, including those engageed in rescue & rehabilitation; promoting knowledge of & respect for the environment; promoting knowledge of, respect for, preservation of, & habitat for vulnerable, threatened & endangered species; providing sanctuary for, & ethical treatment of, animals in need; educating the public about compassionate consumption including veganism; working to end bullying, bigotry & elder abuse/neglect; promoting knowledge of & respect for people with differing abilities & experiences; working to humanely end the overpopulation of companion animals; meeting the food, veterinary & shelter needs of homeless & adopted animals.
