Mission: To lead collaborative efforts to bring optimal oral health to idahoans through education, advocacy, and program development.
Programs: The organization is a statewide nonprofit that works tirelessly to seek ways to address oral health needs for our citizens. The board, members and partners work collaboratively to shine the light on the importance of oral health to whole health and population health. To do this, the organization brings partners together to educate citizens and decision makers about the importance of actively advocating for oral health policies; works with a variety of colleagues to help educate idaho citizens on the need for and availability of preventive services, and leads the statewide charge for oral health integration into primary care settings. The organization also provides oral health resources, information on dental disease in young children, and tips for preventing cavities and living cavity-free. The organization holds a governor appointed membership on the statewide healthcare innovation plan (ship) idaho healthcare coalition (ihc) board and has created the oral health advisory group.
