Causes: Economic Development
Mission: The goal of this orgization is to establish a center for business & entrepreneurship and also is effectively focusing the skills and resources of the greated hunterdon county business community and advancing the interest of the hunterdon country business community throught business resources, economic & workforce development, leadership development, tourism, philanthropy, and the promotion of the civic, educational, cultural and economic insterst of the region.
Programs: The hunterdon county chamber of county foundation (hcccf) exists to promote, support and fund initiatives that enhance opportunities for leadership, education, economical and workforce development. It is designed to be a catalyst for long term initiatives that will have a lasting impact on our economy and the quality of life in hunterdon county. The hcccf board is moving forward to establish a physical home for the center for business & entrepreneurship.
the hcccf board strongly believes that a physical home for the platform, programming and activities that comprise the center for business & entrepreneurship, "the center" will offer the following benefits to the for-profit and not-for-profit business community:cultivation of the next generation of business leadership through its on-going, successful leadership hunterdon program with an annual average class of ten (10) future leaders as identified and sponsored by their companies, industry subject matter experts or by self-applicationsmall business & entrepreneurship support through coaching and direct industry or individual small business advocacyadvanced educational and training programs and services for existing growth businessmeeting and training space for both business and organizations
within the renovated property and building, the center will occupy its rear portion. The operation will seek partnerships in our community such as institutions of higher education from throughout the state and region with dedicated interest in bettering hunterdon's business climate and vitality. Programs like leadership hunterdon (mentioned above) will call the future classroom and meeting space home and center the program's effectiveness and participant experience.
