Mission: HS/SPCA of Nelson Co. exists to improve animal and public welfare through rescue, care, and adoption of "unwanted" companion animals. Our goal is to promote humane, responsible, pet ownership, to protect animals from abuse and neglect, and to prevent overbreeding so that no healthy or treatable, non-aggressive companion animal is euthanized in our area.
