Mission: Hudson Link for Higher Education in Prison, a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization located in Ossining, New York, was formed in 1998 to address the fundamental lack of access and opportunity available to people looking to use the transformative power of higher education to change their lives during and after involvement with the justice system. Our mission is to provide college education, life skills, and reentry support to currently and formerly incarcerated people so they can make a positive impact on their own lives, their families, and communities, resulting in lower rates of recidivism and higher rates of employment, community regeneration, cohesiveness, and reciprocity.

Programs: providing degree-granting college programs to 450 currently incarcerated students, transitional services to more than 2,000 released alumni, and grass-roots advocacy for all justice-impacted people
