Causes: Hospices, Human Services
Mission: Our mission, in honoring life, is to help people of the north country die in spiritual, mental, and physical comfort. We support and encourage people and their families to determine their end-of-life care.
Programs: Hospice cares for the "whole" person, providing physical, emotional, and spiritual support to those facing a life-limiting illness and their loved ones. This care is provided on a non-discriminatory basis in compliance with state and federal regulations. After a patient elects hospice care, the organization provides in-home nursing, ancillary services and inpatient and outpatient services at the hospital. We served 332 patients and provided 14,823 patient days of service.
