Mission: To provide comprehensive, high quality hospice services to meet medical, nursing, psychosocial and spiritual needs for individuals facing the last stages of life, as well as emotional care for their families and friends. To conduct continuing bereavement programs for the families and friends of hospice patients and others in the community. To support partnerships between the health care community and the people of the geographic areas served by hospice of lansing and ionia area hospice. To promote community education to foster awareness, participation, knowledge and understanding of the hospice concept of care among the public and health professions.
Programs: Hospice services for the terminally ill in six counties. In 2017, care was provided to approximately 235 patients. This care included rn, hha, social work, bereavement, chaplain, and volunteer services.
