Mission: Horizons residential care center is a private organization which provides, with utmost dignity and respect, compassionate care and quality services appropriate to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.
Programs: Services are provided to children and adults diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities who need specialized residential treatment and year-round care. Horizons is licensed to operate a 40 bed facility for children and for adults and a 6 bed facility for weekend respite care. Approximately 14,500 patient days and 700 weekend respite patient days were provided. Our summer respite program extended our care hours to weekdays, and we served 12 clients on a weekly basis.
