Mission: Horizon Outreach is a non-profit 501 (c) Horizon Outreach's mission is "Giving Everyone A New Start". We accomplish this mission by providing programs that decrease the effects of challenging life situations on the family.We serve military, non/military families including at risk youth. Our programs provide key resources that: increase self-sufficiency, employability in career positions, workforce development/certifications, access to permanent affordable housing and overall health and wellness of the family. Our services have proven beneficial to the community as evidenced by the 3,000 plus individuals & families (this number includes 1,500 military families) Horizon Outreach has connected to resources and services since being founded since 2010.
Results: Since 2010, the organization has helped individuals to resources and supportive services in the community through collaborative outreach efforts. A few of the services that Horizon Outreach offer is employment and housing assistance, CDL licensing, TWIC cards, and much more.
Target demographics: military veteran and non-veteran families, single young fathers
Direct beneficiaries per year: 3,000 individuals, 1500 were veteran families

Programs: Horizon FAITH- A long standing continuous program that provides housing assistance. Horizon Connect- Community Outreach to provide resources. Horizon Educate- Life-skills training increasing self-sufficiency and stability Horizon Eagle- Our newest program, to help military and non military fathers how may experienced trauma or some disabling condition. Horizon Outreach Seminars- Seminars held throughout the community with partner agencies.
