Mission: Hope partnership's mission is to create a continuum of affordable housing options in lower middlesex county, old lyme and surrounding towns in order to help ensure an eclectic economy and housing choice for all citizens, through the collaborative efforts of governments, businesses, religious communities, civic organizations, and individuals.
Programs: The hope partnership has received financial assistance and membership participation to enable the creation of a strategic and business plan. The organization purchased a home with two units with the intent to resell as affordable housing. The units are available to an individual or family earning 60% or less of the area median income. Hope is a partner in an llc that owns a 16-unit affordable housing complex in the town of old saybrook. The complex provides affordable housing to low income residents.
