Causes: Health, Human Services, Residential Care & Adult Day Programs
Mission: We build opportunities for discovery, choice and self-determination for children and adults with severe developmental disabilities (I/DD). We operate 12, 24-7 comprehensive residential and respite care homes for children and adults with severe developmental disabilities who are unable to be supported in the family home, lack family entirely, or have been dismissed or excluded from other programs. Their co-occurring disabilities include autism, intellectual disabilities (I/DD) and mental health needs. Intensive individualized programs are designed to give children and adults with complex disabilities a stable daily life and community integration. Our goal is for each child or adult to have the full complement of life activities that an individual without disabilities would experience.
