Mission: We rescue, love and care for orphans and impoverished children in haiti, meeting their needs spiritually, physically, academically and emotionally, preparing them for a brighter future.
Programs: Food, clothing, and shelter programs - the organization operates a childrens home for more than 100 haitian children. Through the childrens home, the children receive clothing, school uniforms, shelter, and three meals a day. The children live in independently operated households with 12 to15 children in each home this allows the house parents to provide a family type setting for each child. Additionally, the organizations feeding program serves more than 16,000 meals each month through the school lunch program, orphan-care program, and the community feeding program. A 186,000 gallon cistern and a clean water program provide clean drinking water in tandem with the feeding program.
academic and educational programs - the organization operates a private non-denominational school for 330 children from preschool through the final year of high school. Approximately two-thirds of these children come from the surrounding village of ouanaminthe. The organization provides school supplies, books, uniforms, and medical care for each of the children attending school. The educational and academic programs allow the organization to prepare orphaned and impoverished children for a promising future by providing quality education and leadership skills. The organization continues to improve its official sports program, allowing the children to participate in competitive sports such as soccer and volleyball. In spring of 2015, the high schools first graduate began her collegiate career at a university in the united states. Additionally, in 2016, the organization celebrated its third high school graduating class and continued to help the new graduates prepare for continuing education at the collegiate level. 5 attended college in the us in 2016.
medical assistance - the organization assists in the provision and procurement of medical care for impoverished children in haiti through 1the medical center, a three-story pediatric medical center that currently offers primary outpatient medical care and health education five days each week to the village of ouanaminthe 1,792 treated. 2 the baby rescue program which provides assessment and treatment for malnourished babies and toddlers with medical-grade nutritional supplements on a weekly basis. In 2016 154 children were treated in the outpatient program and 70 children were admitted and treated in the in-patients malnutrition center which provides 24/7 medical care for severely malnourished children. 3 the special needs baby rescue home, a new forever home for children with special needs and physical disabilities, where nurses provide round-the-clock specialized care opened in 2015. In 2016 we cared for 11 children in this program. 4 the dental clinic which provides dental care, education, and dental care supplies for impoverished children in haiti 915 treated.
