I began at Homehouse Holyoke about 3 years ago. I work 9-2 and I go to Homework House after work 3-5. It is the best part of my day. I started working with 4-6 grades and last year I started with the 6th Grade girls. I was challenged by the Math but together we figured out what they were doing and I loved it! Just before Christmas we lose our College students who are tutoring for us until they return at the end of January. So last year I started tutoring 2 Kindergarten children during the break. I had such a wonderful experience that I stayed with them for the rest of the year. This year, I am tutoring a First grader who has limited English. We are doing fine!! The program works with 2 children per tutor and it is from 3-5 Monday to Thursday. If you can join us after Christmas (or the week before), you will not regret it and you will gain more than you give!! We need tutors especially in January starting on the 7th. Call us at 413) 265-1017 or email kimbruno7@comcast.net (Site Coordinator) Our website is http://www.homeworkhouseholyoke.org
