Mission: The organization serves as an animal rescue and welfare group by providing care, housing, medical treatment, and sanctuary for equines and other animals that are unwanted, mistreated, or in at risk situations. The organization provides necessary care, treatment, and training to the animals with the goal of eventual adoption of the animals.
Programs: The organizations primary mission is to provide safe haven and rehabilitation for neglected, mistreated, unwanted, and transitioning equine, as well as companion & small farm animals. We rehabilitate the physical and psychological issues of the animals and place them in new homes when they are ready. The organization has successfully adopted out 7 horses, 2 dogs, and 15 cats during the year of 2017. We provided safe transition for 6 horses, and currently provide care for 10 horses.
the organization provides petting zoos at public events for educational purposes to help spread equine advocacy and provide animal welfare outreach. We reached over 250 people with the use of this program.
the organization offers a work to ride program for individuals that would like to increase their horsemanship skills and knowledge but are unable to afford lessons or a lease. Participants complete projects and chores to earn lessons or ride time. This program has reached 15 people in 2017.
