Mission: The mission of ho-chunk housing and community development agency is to foster a strong, healthy community, of which ho-chunk nation members can be proud, by providing quality, affordable housing and programs that meet social, cultural, and community needs.
Programs: Home-ownership program: the organization provided 5 homeownership classes, providing classes to 30 native american families. The organization also provided down payment assistance to 1 family and rental assistance to 21 households, and college rental assistance to 11 students. The tribal repair program provided assistance to 26 tribal homeowners. Maintenance included window installation on 7 units and siding on 4 units, replaced 3 roofs, replaced 12 new furnaces, 8 carpet replacements, and total rehabilitation was performed on 3 units. Added 11 garages and 21 driveways and installed security cameras. The organization also built new duplex in 2014.
