ethiopia - support for outreach work, high volume cataract programs, equipment, and training opportunities for quiha zonal hospital, arba minch hospital, woldiya hospital, gondar university hospital, menelik ii hospital, jimma university hospital, bisidimo hospital - harar, wgga vision clinic, and st. Paul's hospital, as well as in partnership with weema international and the ophthalmic society of ethiopia. Research initiatives in amhara region, ethiopia. Support for cornea and eye bank development with eye bank of ethiopia.
india - in-kind grants of surgical instruments and grants provided to support the eye center and outreach work in kalimpong, west bengal and eye care in uttar pradesh. Bhutan - supporting country-wide blindness alleviation program. Grants provided for eye surgery, surgical equipment & education; in-kind grants of intraocular lenses, surgical equipment & training. Village interventions & training - community screening and treatment programs in sub-saharan african villages. In-kind grants of equipment, consumables and training provided. Sub-saharan africa other - supporting training and in-kind grants of equipment in kenya and rwanda. Hcp procurement program - established to provide goods and services to nonprofit organizations, individuals and governments for use in the developing world or in service to the overall goal of the hcp.
