Causes: Community Improvement & Capacity Building
Mission: The mission of the hill district consensus group is to build the leadership and power of low-income and working class residents of the hill district and to advance racial and economic justice in neighborhoods, schools and the city. The group has five (5) core values associated with this mission: 1. Grassroots community leadership; 2. Equity and social justice; 3. Education as a human right; 4. Movement building; 5. Innovation.
Programs: Provided organizer training for community youth
to support the operations of the hill district consensus group and their efforts to bring about the social and economic revitalization of the hill district neighborhood.
