Causes: Neighborhood & Block Associations
Mission: The objective of this corporation shall be (a) to acquire title to a certain tract or parcel of land in the subdivision known as "highland hills" in chesterfield county, virginia, on which tract of land there is now located a swimming pool; (b) to construct such other facilities on the said land as will furnish recretional facilities to the members of this corporation and their guests; (c) to maintain and operate the said swimming pool and recreational facilities for the exclusive use of the members of the corporation and their guests; and (d) to promote the civic interest and welfare of the community in a strictly non-partisan and non-political manner.
Programs: This volunteer-driven organization was organized and operates to support and enhance the neighborhood community of highland hills in chesterfield county, virginia by providing and maintaining a recreational area and swimming pool for the use of members and their guests and to generally promote civic interest and welfare of the community through a variety of planned activities such as neighborhood cookouts, horseshoe tournaments, basketball games, national night out activities, preservation of nature park and stream, movie nights, progressive dinners, house and garden tours, neighborhood watch programs and chesterfield emergency response team participation.
