Mission: High peaks education foundation's mission is to ensure the long-term quality and vitality of keene central school (kcs. ) this includes supporting the implementation of the kcs strategic plan, which covers both growth in student population through recruiting, and enrichment of education programs for teachers and students of kcs.
Programs: The foundation provided financial and organizational assistance for keene central school projects, including wilderness first responder training and certification for high school students, a forest fridays program for the elementary grades, an international exchange program, fieldwork for 4th graders to analyze water quality of the boquet river, training for keene central students to participate in a regional iron chef competition, and a history/music field trip for high school students to memphis, nashville and new orleans.
