Causes: Children & Youth, Community Recreational Centers, Sports, Youth Centers & Clubs
Mission: There is a pressing need in the Chama area for social and economic development for the entire citizenry, with special attention required for area youth. While staffing can be provided through existing community resources, space for these activities is unavailable except on a limited and inadequate basis. The serious escalation of student drop out rates, drug use and other problems in student populations challenges the community to find constructive ways to involve citizens in positive intergenerational activities.
