Mission: Vineyardvoice.org teaches kids and publishes the art and ideas of the people of Martha''s Vineyard in order to build social and economic vitality through a community-focused online magazine.
Programs: The Youth Voice Project is a year-round summer and after-school youth enrichment program. We work in direct collaboration with a local arts organization and the local community access television station to teach kids video journalism.
The goal is to provide opportunities for kids to plug in to their community, to build story-telling skills, to develop new-technology skills and to become future stakeholders in our community's future.
Our programs work collaboratively with local organizations to help them share their "mission-centered" information and in the process enable kids to become active community media journalists.
