Causes: Crime & Law
Mission: The hennepin county bar foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable corporation that serves as the charitable arm of the hennepin county bar association. The foundation provides equal access to justice for the people of hennepin county through financial grants to law-related organizations and projects.
Programs: The hcbf provides financial support through grants to programs that: provide legal services to people with limited resources; educate the public about the legal system; and/or contribute to the improvement of the legal system and the administration of justice. The foundation derives its funding from the hennepin county legal community. Contributions allow the legal community to demonstrate its support for a wide range of organizations in hennepin county serving a diverse group of clients in need of legal services, or otherwise unable to get access to justice. The foundation provides substantial support to the volunteer lawyers network, the pro bono arm of the hennepin county bar association.
