Henderson Behavioral Health has provided services in Broward County for over 60 years. I first became aware of Henderson when a family member started exhibiting psychotic behavior. I placed a call to Henderson's Crisis Hotline and was connected to a counselor. I explained the behavior of my family member and the counselor told me that 2 crisis case managers would visit my family member to make an assessment. An assessment was made and my family member was taken to Henderson's Crisis Stabilization Unit for further observation and assessment. My family member was diagnosed as bi-polar and with the right medication and supportive therapy is now stable and able to live a producive, normal life.
I am a donor to Henderson Behavioral Health as I have witnessed first-hand the services that are available and the wonderful staff who is there every step of the way to support the family through the process.

Mission: Henderson behavioral health, inc. And subsidiaries (the organization) provides behavioral health care throughout broward and palm beach counties, the treasure coast and okeechobee. The organization charges fees based upon its patients' ability to pay for clinical services and receive grants, contracts and contributions from various governmental and charitable agencies. Gifts, donations and volunteer services are also received from individuals and corporations.
Programs: Mental health care provided to a designated catchment area specifically for the population which could not otherwise afford the care.
