A relative had two cats who had to be re-homed. We kept them in our home for four months but they didn't integrate well with our cats and we were actually over the legal limit in our county with them in our home. I called Helping Paws and they were so understanding! I felt terrible having to put these two sweet cats out of our home but it was necessary. Helping Paws in a no-cage shelter (after the initial isolation to check for illness or parasites) But they allowed up to stay to help our babies become more comfortable. One of the workers fellin love with Kiki right away and took her home after a few weeks. WE could track our cats on their website and saw when Bobo was adopted! I was so happy! They take in all cats, they have cats who were hurt in fires or abandoned. Cats with terrible health problems, their vet bill is very high. But they have loving and capable volunteers and the animals are all well cared for and treat the place like a home. They're wonderful and I wish they could get more support!
