Helping Hands International Foundation works at the grassroots level to educate key leaders to empower women and children bound by situation of political, econominc and social crisis by breaking the cycle of poverty empowering the women through education and training. I was involved with the Haiti Medical Mission. This organization is great there is low overhead it is run by mostly volunteers 95% of your donation goes to the cause.
