Causes: Health, Nerve, Muscle & Bone Diseases Research
Mission: To assist in finding a cure for parkison's disease; to create an organization that ensures a social quality of life for those afflicted with parkinson's; create a viable and continuous funding program, to ensure utilization and development of non-pharmacological therapies for those afflicted with parkinson's, their family and/or caregivers, as well as a comprehensive networking and collaborative support system. To offer professional and para-professional traingin and to create a comprehensive database for parkingson's patients in our service area.
Programs: The organization generated income from fundraising activities (golf tournaments) in 2009 in order to pay out start-up expenses (including an irsfee of 750). Once start-up costs are fully funded and donations begin to be received, the organization will begin its exempt purpose goals.
