I have been on the board since the beginning about ten years ago. This organization has always been principled and compassionate. It's sole purpose is to help the needy. That is what they do and that is all they do. The hearts of the other board members is to serve others and it shows in their outreach, providing food and resources to local pantries for their continued provision to those in need . Giving away hundreds of turkeys at Thanksgiving is one of their most notable events they have been doing for over five years.
It is a great group.

Help in Charlotte County is a great non-profit, faith-based coalition of churches, organizations, governmental agencies, and businesses working together to facilitate and create effective sustainable community services that provide for the physical, educational, spiritual, medical, and mental health needs of the body, mind, and spirit. They help those in need of food and assist other organizations that need funding like food pantries, they also have a large role in fundraising to obtain the ability to help other organizations within the county. This is a very good organization and I'm blessed to be a part of it.

Fighting hunger has been a personal mission for myself and my family since I was young. I was happy to discover Help in Charlotte County in 2012 through friends who were and are Board members. At first I volunteered so I had the opportunity to understand and get to know about this organization works. Then happily on my 50th birthday I became a Board member. What sets us apart is our relationship with God in everything we try to do for our County. We truly seek Him first. And He has blessed us and our community. We as members and a group are committed in our Fight Against Hunger and spreading God's Love.

H.E.L.P. in Charlotte County is a wonderful addition to our Handfuls of Purpose Food Pantry at the Englewood East Church of Christ in Englewood, FL. We are always included in every food donation given to the local pantries in Charlotte County. The turkey donations are especially welcomed in November for our Thanksgiving Day distribution which allows us to give all our families food for the holiday. Elaine Oliver is a wonderful and caring leader of this non-profit, she is a tireless worker and is blessed with great volunteers.

I have worked with H.E.L.P for the last few years and without this non-profit, the Church food pantries in Charlotte County would be in real bad shape. They go above and beyond to help those folks that really need help. Here in Charlotte County the jobs are not plentiful and families at times have a hard time feeding their families, and above all their children. HELP stands behind their meaning (His Everlasting Love For People). People tend to come to the churches for assistance and HELP steps up to the plate and they go out of their way to help the Food Pantries in Charlotte County. Thank You Elaine.

H.E.L.P. in Charlotte County is such a blessing to local non-profits who help those in need in the county. My non-profit has been blessed to receive food and toiletries at various times. What a God-send Elaine and all the wonderful volunteers are. if it was not for their help and all that they do, many individuals would go without and we would not be able to help as many families as we do.
I feel blessed and honored to be affiliated with such a remarkable organization.

H.E.L.P. in Charlotte County strives to meet the needs of those in our area for those who truly need it in the most cost-effective ways possible. We are looking forward to expanding our work with the food banks while developing our programs to meet the needs of those with mental health challenges and for prisoners re-entering society. What a tremendous organization to be a part of, and what an honor to be able to serve in this capacity.

H.E.L.P. in Charlotte County is a wonderful organization which works to provide food to over 20 food pantries and feeding programs in Charlotte County. They organize Feed the Harbor, Stuff the Trolly, the Turkey Trott and other events to provide items to the pantries when the shelves are low. They also work hard to raise funds to purchase food by the truckload. Elaine Oliver and her dedicated volunteers are a blessing to the food pantries, feeding programs and those in need in Charlotte County.

I am confident that when I contribute to HELP in Charlotte County Inc., that my dollars are doing more good that they could do with many other very reputable and respectable nonprofits. HELP operates on a shoe string budget for overhead and, for such a small organization, manages to help many other nonprofits feed the way too many hungry and needy folks in our community. Elaine Oliver and her helpers go the extra mile in their efforts and make a big difference.

I am proud to be a supporter of this organization and their commitment to helping the less fortunate. HELP is an energetic, faith based nonprofit that is making a difference in Charlotte County Florida through insightful management and total commitment to their mission. They are able to leverage contributions in many ways to help the most people and agencies and at the same time do it in a God loving way. A real and solid professional organization! I have seen lives changed in very positive ways by what they do in major food and health product distribution.

H.E.L.P. in Charlotte County is a God-send. They help provide assistance to non-profits so that the needy in Charlotte County can eat, pay their bills and survive in today's economy. Elaine Oliver, as director, goes the extra mile to see that H.E.L.P. is a top-notch organization. We would be lost without her and her organization. Thank you, Elaine and God Bless.

H.E.L.P. is an organization in Port Charlotte, FL dedicated to helping non-profits throughout the county. Just this past Wednesday, a large truck delivered pallets of boxed food. This was distributed to several different food pantries in Charlotte County. Without the wonderful work of H.E.L.P., food pantries such as ours would have many more empty shelves throughout the year and would not be able to feed those in need. Many thanks and blessings to H.E.L.P. The staff and clients at our food pantry do appreciate your hard work.

I have served on the board since it's inception. I have served in the past on a number of boards. You will not find a more dedicated group of people than those involved with H.E.L.P. They have done so much for the people here in Charlotte County and it looks like the organization has only scratched the surface of what they hope to do: Get the people in Charlotte County who can help others active in doing just that in as many ways as possible.

I served on the Board of HELP for its first beginning years as it was organizing. Every one on the board was truly dedicated to serve our community. Since leaving the board I continue to support this organization because I know thousands of people who receive the benefits of over 20 food pantries that are helped by HELP. Their mission is to partner with other agencies to meet the needs of people. The organization s growing and because all the funds collected stay within the County I would encourage support of this fantastic organization.
