Mission: To improve the quality of life for children and adults with physical, mental, emotional, behavioral, social, and/or spiritual needs by providing activities and therapy through the interaction with horses.
Programs: Professional association of therapeutic horsemanship international (p. A. T. H) certified riding instructors work with children and adults with special needs to develop and enhance both body and mind through therapeutic riding. Therapeutic riding is a great outlet for those with special needs to grow physically and mentally while enjoying nature with friends, family and instructors.
massage therapy is also provided to the organization's special needs clients to assist in their riding therapy and day-to-day activities. Massage therapy has been shown to loosen and relax painfully tight muscles due to various ailments, allowing those with special needs to improve upon their functional skills while promoting relaxation and well-being, reducing stress, improving sleep, and developing deeper emotional connections with family members and friends.
