Mission: To provide comprehensive primary health care services based upon identified community needs, to individuals and families that otherwise would not have access to this care, regardless of ability to pay.
Programs: Heart of kansas family health care provides health care to those individuals who do not qualify for the medicaid program and who do not have the financial resources to purchase insurance or health care services themselves. In fiscal year 2017, there were approximately 13,586 medical encounters. The organization's largest program service was through medical services.
heart of kansas family health care provides individual and family therapy services to meet the needs of its patients. Marital counseling, substance abuse counseling, behavior modification and parenting information are also provided. All services are provided on a confidential basis to ensure the privacy of the patient.
heart of kansas family health care provides two different programs to help our patients obtain affordable quality prescriptions. 1. The prescription assistance program (pap) provides medication at very low or no cost to eligible low and fixed income patients. 2. The 340b prescription program provides medications to patients at a huge discount off of retail pharmacy prices. This program is available to all clinic patients regardless of income level.
