Mission: Our goal is to reduce florida's infant mortality and morbidity rates. This program has contributed to improvement in birth outcomes for indigent individuals and high risk pregnancies regardless of income
Programs: Healthy start has contributed to improvements in birth outcomes and has seen a decline in the mortality rates. Florida leads the southern states in low infant mortality rates we teach moms how to care for their children thru sobra. This program also helps supply baby care items and directs moms to other agencies for help. This is govt granted thru federal funds the state recvs all other moneys not listed under grants or revenue are donations
