Programs: Citizens' initiative review oregon assisted in supporting the oregon citizens' initiative review commission (circ) through supporting the development of and administrative services agreement between the circ and the policy consensus initiative (pci), funded circ administrative transfer, developed and tested cir 2. 0 design for use on statewide cir program in 2014, fundraising to support two statewide citizens' initiative reviews (cir), administration of two cirs in august, 2014, and promotion of the cir results.

citizens' initiative review arizona and colorado: in collaboration with key partners, co-convened pilot projects of the cir in denver, colorado and phoenix, arizona in sept, 2014, and evaluated outcomes.

citizens' initiative review replication: convened a series of outreach meetings/briefings with prospective cir replication partners in arizona, colorado, and washington states, secured partnerships in each of these three states, engaged in a project to revise the cir program to work on a shorter duration format, tested technology integration through a collaboration with the participatory budgeting project and personal democracy media, developed the cir 2. 0 design with key contractors, tested the cir 2. 0 design with support from various funders and partners on a local ballot initiative in jackson county, oregon, in april, 2014. , successfully fundraised for pilot projects in colorado and arizona.

online engagement: the organization engaged in research into numerous online deliberative websites and platforms, and negotiated with two organizations to support integrating new online technologies into the oregon cir process.
