Programs: Community health centers - in 2014, the community health centers serviced over 6,780 individuals with 26,135 patient encounters. These centers provide patients with primary medical & dental care as well as ancillary care in terms of referrals to specialists & diabetic education & support.
voices for healthy choices - in 2014, voices for healthy choices (v4hc), an office of adolescent pregnancy program demonstration project, provided a school based curriculum with supporting activities such as after school sessions and a community service component for 7th - 12th grade students. The program places considerable emphasis on helping youth develop a belief in a positive future & their ability to take action that will achieve that future.
state adh - the purpose of state adh is to increase direct services to uninsured, under-insured, underserved arkansans, and thus: 1) increase access to healthcare 2) improve quality of care and health outcomes and 3) promote cost-effectiveness. These funds are intended for increasing delivery of direct services to patients of community health centers, preserving and strengthening arkansas' 12 community health centers, and increasing arkansas' access to quality primary and preventive health care.
