Programs: Safety net health care funding activities promote the developmentof a health care delivery system that provides easy access toquality health care resulting in better health, better care andlower cost. Funding to safety net providers are those thatdeliver a significant level of health care to uninsured, medicaid,and other vulnerable patients. Core safety net providers maintaina commitment to serve all patients regardless of their ability topay.
mental health funding activities emphasize behavioral healthservices for children and adults, and family violence. Funding isprovided for support and treatment, prevention, and advocacy.
healthy lifestyles funding activities promote healthy eating,active living and/or discouraging tobacco use for the uninsuredand underserved in the foundation's service area. The overall goal of the foundation's funding is to create community environments that can reinforce healthy choices.
special initiatives/advocacy grants and awards to address special initiatives within the mission of the foundation.
