I volunteered with this organization a few times and was amazed at the exceptional care and dedication that was shown to the animals there. From dogs to cats to goats and turtles (and more), each animal is given the specific care and love they need. It's a wonderful place and a fabulous group.

I started volunteering at the Healing HEART Sanctuary earlier this year. What a wonderful organization. So much love and caring for all the animals!! A few months ago, I was at the sanctuary when a local dog was brought in because he became paralyzed in the back end for no apparent reason. I watched him go through therapy sessions and other forms of rehabilitation. This dog is now back home, after weeks of staying at the sanctuary, and he is walking and going everywhere with his dad again. No one ever thought this would be possible, but the love, faith and dedication of Healing HEART Sanctuary is unbeatable!!!

Healing HEART Sanctuary helps and cares for injured and disabled animals. I was introduced to this amazing Sanctuary about three years ago and immediately felt a need to offer some of my time there. I live locally in Kanab UT and have come to be very attached to the dogs, cats, goats, African tortoises, ducks, a turtle, rabbit and leopard geckos!!! All have special needs and they respond so appreciatively to the wonderful care and love they receive. Laura, the executive director, also works through networking to provide help and care for injured and disabled animals across the US. Check out their facebook page at Healing HEART Sanctuary!!! They are a very worthy charity... LG ((*_*))
