Mission: To facilitate the grant funded by the new jersey department of health and senior services for the preparedness and response to bioterrorism.
Programs: Grant - emergency management the overarching requirements of the grant are to: a. Achieve national incident management system (nims)compliance b. Provide education and preparedness training c. Conduct exercises, evaluation and corrective action d. Identify needs of at-risk populations e. Develop interoperable communication f. Provide facility management g. Inventory and develop medical evacuation/shelter- in-place/alternative care sites hcanj foundation works within the new jersey healthcare associations emergency preparedness alliance (njhaepa) to advance the development of the njdhss health emergency preparedness and response master plan covering the emergency preparedness and response activities. The activities described in the master plan conform to the framework set forth in njdhss document: responding to public health emergencies: new jersey strategy.
