Mission: HCF helps people make a difference by inspiring the spirit of giving and by investing in people and solutions to benefit every island community.
Programs: HCF provides charitable services including: philanthropic consulting services, referrals, giving vehicle options, research on community issues, and flexible/low-cost ways to make gifts that benefit the community. As a strategic grantmaker, HCF invests in the community through initiatives and programs. HCF has given $27 million in grants: $16.1 million from HCF funds and $11.3 million from private foundations. The total amount of $27 million includes $2.6 million distributed in scholarships from HCF and contract funds.
