There’s no doubt how HVK has already changed the lives of many, including those who have been a part of the work for a brief time. Volunteering was only one part. Meeting the actual on-the-ground actors who do the hard work really day-in and day-out is really another.
In such a short time, the campaign Jermoh and her colleagues have done to start installing the basics, which are the most challenging to provide, is inspiring. It makes us all feel that helping, regardless of size, is a universal language that humanity can relate to.
Latrines, clean source of water, teacher training and an offline library that contains by the thousands of reading, photos and interactive learning materials. Not to mention, the ready support and guide HVK provides to its volunteers, myself include, to better understand the work we are taking part in.
Thank you again. I feel empowered myself. All the best and God bless!
